I Was the Healthiest Unhealthy Person I Knew…
A few years ago, I hit a breaking point. I was doing everything right — eating clean, working out, checking all the boxes — yet I was still exhausted, anxious, and inflamed. My body felt off, my mind was scattered, and no amount of supplements or routines could bring me back into balance. Deep down, I knew something was missing.
What I eventually learned was that I’d drifted too far from the most natural healing tools we have — the sun, the water, the earth beneath our feet, and the breath that anchors us back into the present moment. Somewhere along the way, I’d lost my rhythm. And it wasn’t until I slowed down and started reconnecting with nature’s cues that I began to feel alive again.
So I created Tejas River Club as a place for people to remember what their bodies already know — that healing doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s movement, connection, and community. It’s hearing the sound of running water after class, breathing with the wind, feeling the sunshine on your skin, and letting your nervous system finally exhale.
From that philosophy, the Reset was born — a simple, science-backed rhythm that brings you back to center in under 20 minutes a day. No tech, no tools, no noise. Just nature, intention, and the reminder that your body already knows how to heal when you give it the chance.
